Trevor M. Saliba is the Chairman and CEO of NMS Capital Group, a family office-backed global private equity firm based in Beverly Hills, California. Established in 2010 as the family office’s dedicated investment vehicle, NMS Capital Group has a storied history in the construction, infrastructure, and real estate sectors that dates back to the 1890s. Since its inception, NMS Capital Group has evolved into a global private investment firm specializing in private equity, venture capital, and structured financing investments.

Over the years, Trevor Saliba and NMS Capital Group have invested in various asset classes, including business and financial services, real estate, infrastructure, consumer products, media, and technology. He and the firm’s leadership team boast a collective transaction experience exceeding $150 billion, with over $10 billion in real estate transactions.

Under Mr. Saliba’s leadership, NMS Capital Group has consistently been recognized as one of the Top Private Equity firms in Los Angeles and among the fastest-growing companies.

Mr. Saliba also serves as Managing Director, President, and COO of one of NMS Capital’s platform investment companies, NFG SA, a Geneva-domiciled investment holding company headquartered in London. The firm focuses on insurance, reinsurance, energy and infrastructure, and real estate.

Founder and Chairman of NMS Consulting

Trevor M. Saliba expanded his professional activities as Founder and Chairman (retired as CEO in 2022) of NMS Consulting, a global management consulting and strategic advisory firm focused on management consulting, corporate advisory, strategic communications, and tax advisory. Formed in 2018 as a spinoff of the consulting practice within NMS Capital Group that served its portfolio companies, NMS Consulting has grown to have more than 350 professionals across 17 offices throughout the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Chairman, CEO, NMS Capital Advisors

From 2012 to 2018, Mr. Saliba served as Chairman and CEO of NMS Capital Advisors. This international investment bank specializes in mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investment transactions, private equity, and asset management advisory services to public and private clients. Until the firm’s sale in late 2018, Mr. Saliba guided cumulative sales growth that exceeded 5,100%, resulting in annual compounded sales expansion in the 120% range.

During that same period, NMS Capital Advisors worked on and completed more than $5 billion in transactions. The Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) has ranked it among the top 10 investment banks since 2014.

Trevor M. Saliba’s Bespoke Career

Throughout his career, Mr. Saliba has held various esteemed positions. Before founding NMS Capital Group, he served as Managing Director-Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, India, Singapore) for Platinum Capital, Ltd.. Platinum Capital is a London-based hedge fund manager with over $800 million in assets under management based in the firm’s Los Angeles and Hong Kong offices.

Before Platinum Capital, Mr. Saliba was a principal advisor to a Los Angeles-based family office, advising on public and private investments, private equity, real estate, and venture capital. In his principal advisor role, he assumed C-suite roles of the family office’s investment or portfolio companies engaged in the construction and engineering, media, technology, manufacturing, financial services, and consumer products sectors.

Mr. Saliba began his career in the financial services industry with Morgan Stanley in 1995, where he excelled in investment banking, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and structured financings.

Los Angeles Business Journal’s Most Influential Investment Bankers List in 2018, named LABJ’s Most Influential Private Equity Investors & Advisors in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024, and named the LA Times Banking and Finance Magazine Visionary in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Trevor Saliba, NMS Capital Group, held the following FINRA securities licenses: Series 7, Series 24 (Securities Principal), Series 63, Series 65 (Investment Advisor), Series 79 (Investment Banking), and Series 99.

He was educated at some of the finest institutions in our country. He is an alumnus of Columbia Business School, New York. In addition, Mr. Saliba obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in finance from La Salle University, Pennsylvania. He also completed the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School, Massachusetts.

Trevor Saliba is the former President of the Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter for

the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), the world’s foremost professional society for risk managers, is committed to advancing the profession via education, research, and best practices.

In 2018, Mr. Saliba became a Milken Institute Associate. The Milken Institute Associates is a group of the non-profit think tank’s most active supporters from the corporate, government, economic, health, and philanthropic sectors. Members participate actively in the organization’s activities and are invited to exclusive private events, its annual Global Conference, and other global events. The Milken Institute brings together the best ideas and resources to develop blueprints for tackling critical global issues.

He is also a Young Presidents Organization (YPO) member, a global leadership community of extraordinary chief executives.

Mr. Saliba was born in California in 1974.
